Rempapa | Singapore Heritage Cuisine by Chef Damian D'Silva

Rempapa, opening on 10 Dec 2021 is an all-day dining concept offering Breakfast/Brunch, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Bar Snacks, Drinks, and Dinner. The menu offers both classic heritage recipes of Pop, Grandma, Aunty Zainab and others (some older than 100 years), as well as ‘new’ old heritage recipes that Damian had kept in his head for years, presented here for the first time. Takeaway meals are also available so families can bond at home over heritage flavours.

Breakfast & Brunch Menu

Sri Lankan Chicken Curry with String Hoppers ($16.00++) Sri Lankan chicken curry served with string hoppers and tomato and date chutney


Chickpea Curry with Roti / String Hoppers ($18.00++) Vegetarian-friendly Chickpea with roti or string hoppers


Stir-fried Chee Cheong Fun ($13.00++) Fried chee cheong fun with prawn, egg, and yellow chive


Braised Beef with Raita & Roti ($25.00++) Braised point end beef brisket with raita and roti

 
Lunch & Brunch Menu

Nasi Lemak with Fish / Chicken ($17.00++ / $2.00 for extra egg) Coconut rice with sambal, silver fish, egg, and sliced cucumber. Served with either deep-fried chicken thigh or fried selar fish.


Kai Fan ($18.00++) Steamed rice with shredded chicken, char siew, Chinese sausage, and chye sim in chicken broth


Fried Chicken Curry Rice ($16.00++ / $2.00 for extra egg) Fried chicken and curry served with rice, 7-minute egg, and pickles


Seafood Curry Mee ($18.00++) Seafood curry served with yellow noodles and bee hoon, pig skin, boiled prawns, fish cake, fresh cockles (optional), long tau pok (tau bian), and beansprouts

 
Dinner Menu

Lamb Leg Rendang ($38.00++) Boneless lamb leg rendang


Slow-Cooked Belly Pork with Ah Seng Sauce ($23.00++) Sliced slow-cooked pork belly with mildy spicy sauce


Kedondong Salad ($15.0++) A salad of wing beans, fresh ambarella (kedondong), julienned kaffir lime leaf, and ginger flower, tossed with peanut brittle and shrimp floss

 
Dessert Menu

Kueh Platter ($6 for 4 pieces; $10 for 8 pieces; $15 for 12 pieces) Daily assortment of kuehs to choose from.

Talam Keladi A two-layered kueh with gula melaka custard on top and mashed yam below
