Avenue 87 | NEW Menu Inspired by Foods that Co-Chef-Founders Glen Tay and Alex Phan Loved Growing Up

This is my 3rd visit to Avenue 87, I love their creativity and never fail to impress. Located at Amoy Street, Avenue 87 serves a Modern Asian cuisine of well-known dishes transformed by the memories, travels, and professional discourse of co-Chef-Founders Glen Tay and Alex Phan.

Inspired by foods that Glen and Alex loved growing up, the dinner tasting menu comprises either the five or seven courses, with the beverage pairing option specially curated by our team. Highly recommend going for the 7-course tasting menu for an immersive gastronomic experience.

1st course
A medley of SNACKS such as tofu, kueh pie tie, pork jelly, laksa, bread & butter

2nd course
FOIE GRAS with chinese celery, confit tomato & mandarin orange

3rd course

4th course
Our favourite dish, FROG LEGS with Thai green curry, lemongrass & thai basil.

5th course
TOOTHFISH with crab roe, ikura & bajjiu. The meat is moist and tender, love it.

Avenue 87 - New Cosy Cocktail Den

This is one of the restaurants that stand out when they debut last year, it’s nice to be back here at Avenue 87. Aside from trying their new tasting menu, we start off visiting their new cosy cocktail den located at level 2.

Lounge at Avenue 87 is only accessible through the restaurant’s back-end staircase leading to the upper level. Homely & Cosy atmosphere contributes to the enjoyment of a relaxed evening out.

The menu features two drinks specially concoted by Glen & Alex, as well as classic cocktails. Alex’s Cocktail is the refreshing Botanic ($21.00++), highlighting familiar Asian profiles with Rojak Gin, Melati, and Indian tonic. Glen’s Cocktail is the charming pink Jambu ($21.00++), made with butter vodka, sherry, rose apple, rose syrup, and honey, the drink offers the sweet and cream flavours of bandung.
