Oriole Coffee + Bar Launches Festive Truffle Dishes & Delightful Drinks

Truffle lovers, get ready for this as Oriole Coffee + Bar has specially created three truffle dishes and delightful drinks for the festive season. Available from 1 Dec 2021 to 28 Feb 2022, these easy-eating dishes uses generous truffle oil, butter and paste offers a deep aroma and truffle flavour.

Truffle Mushroom Pizza ($22.00++) Crispy thin crust pizza dough topped with a aioli base mixed with truffle paste as well as mozzarella cheese and chunks of juicy mushrooms sautéed with truffle oil. Generous handfuls of rocket leaves are scattered across the pizza to balance the rich umami flavours, and the finishing touch before serving is another drizzle with some more truffle oil.

Truffle Scrambled Egg & Cheese Burger ($16.00++) fluffy scrambled egg cooked with truffle oil, paired with smoky and juicy crispy bacon. A buttery brioche bun completes this burger, served with fries and salad. You can upgrade the regular fries to sweet potato fries or truffle fries for an extra $3.00++.

Those who stayed in Punggol area should be familiar with this riverside café, Whisk and Paddle specialize in serving all-day brunch, pastries and dessert. This is a place that I always wanted to try but they are just too far for me.

Finally, they have opened their 2nd outlet in Aug 2021, directly opposite the Bukit Batok Driving Centre or few mins walk from Bukit Gombak MRT station.

High ceiling with large glass panels allows plenty of natural light in, this lush greenery café is spacious and fully air-conditioned. Perfect place to enjoy a leisure catch up with friend for a cup of freshly ground coffee, brunch and dessert.

Flipper's Singapore - Fluffy, Pillow-Soft 'Kiseki' Pancake New Outlet with New Items.

Debut in Singapore on 6 November 2020 last year, the Japanese ‘Kiseki’ Pancake chain Flipper's Singapore is opening their second outlet at Bugis Junction on 25 October 2021.

 

They have found a perfect spot located within Bugis Junction that offer natural lights that penetrate through the high glass ceilings.

 
Known for fluffy and pillow-soft souffle pancakes, it’s so delicate that they are served with only two forks; no knife is needed.

 
Similar to the Takashimaya outlet, the menu at the Bugis Junction outlet feature a selection of Seasonal Special, Sweet and Savoury items. Features sweet and tangy fresh strawberries, velvety cream cheese and homemade strawberry jelly sandwiched between soufflé pancakes cloaked in a handcrafted strawberries-blended cream.

Caramelised Banana with Chocolate Ice Cream ($21.80) slightly different from their Taka outlet, instead of hazelnut, this is served with Chocolate Ice Cream and Chocolate syrup. Chocolate lovers and kids will love this.
