Paradise Teochew - Teochew Classics and Hong Kong-style Dim Sum

Aside reopening of the newly renovated Scotts Square outlet, Paradise Teochew has opened their newest outlet in July 2021 at Takashimaya! The restaurant doles out Teochew classics and Hong Kong-style dim sum offerings that are specially created by Executive Chef Cheng Fa Kwan.


Traditional Hong Kong style Handmade Dim Sum includes:

Steamed Dumpling in Teochew Style. The skin has to be rolled out till it is smooth and very thin, wrap the filling of a blend of turnip, yam bean, preserved salted radish, dried shrimp and chicken.





Steamed Pork Dumpling 'Siew Mai'. A marriage of pork meat, whole prawn meat, mushroom and sole fish. It’s firm and juicy.



Deep-fried Prawn in Beancurd Skin Roll. Thin and crispy roll filled with big prawns for great mouthfeel and sheer satisfaction.



Teochew Classics Dishes:

Stir-fried Pomfret Fillet with Tomato and Salted Vegetable. The fresh pomfret is first pan-fried, then cooked with fresh tomatoes, chopped Italian tomatoes, salted vegetables and Chinese celery, amongst other ingredients before serving in a clay pot, which helps to retain the heat throughout the meal.



Braised Crisp-fried Sea Cucumber with Superior Abalone Sauce. The sea cucumber is first soaked for 8 to 10 days, then deep-fried for a few minutes to a crispy exterior. The inside is soft and chewy serve with their inhouse abalone sauce.



Teochew Style Braised Trio Combination Platter (Sliced Irish Fat Duck, Sliced Octopus, Sliced Pork Knuckle) Both the Irish fat duck and pork knuckle are braised with a master sauce that has been in use for six years, which gives them an incredible and complex depth of flavour.



Minced Pork and Conpoy Teochew Porridge. Deep-fried sole fish, minced garlic and hand-beaten minced pork are cooked in a superior broth, before grains of rice are added.



Teochew Style Trio Dessert: Mini Egg Tart, Sugar-coated Deep-fried Yam Stick and Deep-fried Japanese Sweet Potato Puff with Yam Paste topped with Gingko Nut and Pumpkin.
