300g Hokkaido Pork ($208++ for dine-in; $138+ for takeaway)
For those who enjoy a variety of quality wagyu, highly
recommended to go for the Assorted Platter of Hida, Miyazaki, and Olive Wagyu
Sirloin. Melt-in-your-mouth texture, these wagyu beef is very juicy with rich
and umami flavour. My personal favourite is the Olive Wagyu which I read that
it is one of the rarest steaks in the world. Wow!
Every sukiyaki set is accompanied by assorted vegetables and
tofu, konnyaku noodles, two bowls of Hokkaido rice, and raw Okinawa egg as a
dip. A platter of seasonal starters including the crowd’s favourite uni yukke
cone, will be presented for dine-in guest.
The Gyu Bar’s house-made warishita is imbued with fresh
tanginess and natural sweetness from peeled tomatoes. For those who enjoy spicy
soups like me, tantalise the taste buds with optional add-ons of chilli padi
and deep-fried garlic chips that are served on the side.
