Aside from their wide selection of sushi, fresh sashimi and set meals, do you know that each Ichiban Boshi Restaurant  offers unique design, ambience and specialty menus? I was at their Great World outlet that specialises in Sakana (Fresh Fish) which menu comprises daily selection of fishes that are directly imported from Japan, ranging from Kodai (crimson sea bream) to Itoyori (golden threadfin bream) and more.

Dishes Highlight include:

Wafu Aqua Pazza; Exclusive at Great World only as part of Sakana Specialty Menu. Whole Fish with clams & vegetables in house-special broth. The fish has a firm texture, and the broth brings an umami punch.

Long Bamboo Rainbow Chirashi; Sushi Rice is topped with a melody of bluefin tuna, Japanese red sea bream, yellowtail, salmon, egg, black flying fish roe & salmon roe. A great option for sharing.

Ikura Beef Steak Don; Tender succulent slices of Premium beef steak which comes with yakiniku sauce, poached egg, salmon roe rice bowl and serve with miso soup.

Salmon Belly Mentai Yaki Nigiri; Salmon belly, flying fish roe and spicy cod roe mayo topped with spring onions

Ice Shiratama Zenzai with Matcha Ice Cream; my perfect kind of Japanese dessert. The combination of red bean paste, glutinous rice ball and matcha ice cream are perfect!!
