49 Seats has total 3 outlets in Singapore as of now but only this Original Main Outlet located at 49 Kreta Ayer Road operate from 6pm till late night. If you plans to go for Lunch or Brunch, visit their Orchard Central or Bugis outlets. Come here only after 6pm to avoid disappointment. Check out their operating hours at the bottom of this Blog.

Browse through their menu and my first impression is the foods at 49 Seats are very affordable and there is no GST & Service Charge. It's NETT price.
Trying out few of their popular dishes which includes Tomyum Seafood Pasta, Creamy Smoked Duck, Golden Escargot, Fish & Chip and Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce.
Golden Escargot
Personally, I feel that this lack of some spark. I am sorry to say that it taste to me more like mushroom than Escargot but I wouldn't say it's not nice. Just don't have the craving to want more.
Creamy Smoked Duck
This is what I like most among the few dishes, It is creamy just enough and the smoked duck is very tender and the smokiness add a sensational extra level of flavours.
Tomyum Seafood Pasta
One of the most popular in 49 Seats. I don't think there are many place that serve pasta in Tomyum. The spiciness of the Tomyum is just right, refreshing sourness but I find it slightly salty.
Old Fashioned Fish & Chip with Al Scampi Sauce
Nothing interest me in the presentation but we are so amazed that after spending some time on photo shooting the table of food, this fish & chip remain it's crispiness. Folks looking for crispy fish & chip, must try this!
Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce
Hmm.. nothing really special. Just another Chicken Chop with Mushroom sauce. The chicken is a bit dry and the skin is not those crispy type.
