Celebrate a Perfect Mother's Day at TAO Seafood Asia

Mother's Day is around the corner. Still can't decide where to go? Why not bring your mummy down to TAO Seafood Asia for a pretty nice Teochew food.

Introducing some of the special dishes that are available during the Mother's Days period known as "Mrs Lee's Favourites". This Mrs Lee is no other than the restaurant owner's mother.

While waiting for the food to be serve, have a plate of fried fish skin with salted egg. Crisply coated with a layer of salted egg. Two thumbs up!

Impress your mummy with this as a start. Beautiful hand carved fish from a Pumpkin but can see cannot eat. I find the Steamed Egg with Coconut juice topped with Crab Meat and Salmon Roe is a Chinese version of a Chawanmushi with it's own unique way.

Steamed Egg with Coconut juice topped with Crab Meat and Salmon Roe S$9.80

 Chilled Drunken Chicken  S$10
Don't be afraid of the word "Drunken". It don't have a very strong alcoholic taste. It mix real well with their own special green chilli.

Claypot Braised Chicken and Abalone with Rice Wine S$48
Decent size abalone, well marinated chicken with rice wine. Home cook feel and mix well with a bowl of rice.

Chef Lee's Homestyle Wok Fried Prawns $30
The prawns are fresh. It's recommended to peel off the prawn shell with your hands to taste how delicious it is. Slightly salty but again, it blend well with a bowl of rice.

TAO Pig Trotters with Sea Cucumber $48
Rich in collagen. This taste real good and don't even feel fatty eating it. Very nicely done. Please note that a two-day advance order is required to avoid disappointment,

Orh Ni Sago Dessert $6
Not the traditional Orh Ni as it may be too filling after eating the above dishes. This is something more smoothing yet did not lose the traditional teochew dessert taste.
