District 10 Bar & Grill @ Suntec City

District 10? The first thing it cross my mind. Is it something related to the movie "The Hunger Game"?? If you watched that movie, you will know what I mean. Nah, there is no relation to that. District 10 was formed in year 2009 at Bukit Timah Road and shifted to UE Square in year 2011. I don't really know why named as District 10 but base on Singapore's District guide, Bukit Timah is part of District 10, my guess it is something related to this. Just guessing.

District 10 Bar & Grill is their 3rd outlet now in Singapore conveniently located at the Suntec City, just next to Tower 2 office lobby. They are specialist in Dry-Aged Meat which we don't often see it in Singapore.

Indoor and Outdoor seating. Did you notice the little promotion sign board? Yes, they are running a promotion now that cost just $10++ for a pint of Asahi beer. Very reasonable right?

This is Chef Luca Pezzera, one of the owner of District 10 who give us an introduction of their signature Dry Aged Meat.

This Chiller imported from Italy that cost $22k specially to house their Dry Aged meats. You can see how serious they are in this business and this is why I love this restaurant. They are very meticulous in every aspects.

Fruits of Angel ($18.00++)
One of their Signature Cocktail. Refreshing which consist of Plantation, Original Dark, Homemade Papaya Syrup, Fresh Lemon Juice, Thyme

Vitello Tonnato ($24.00++)
Piedmontese dish of cold, sliced veal covered with a creamy, mayonnaise-like sauce that have flavoured with tuna.

Puglia Burratina ($26.00++)
Fresh Italian cheese, made from mozzarella and cream with organic cherry tomato-basil burschetta.

Butter Lettuce with Redish & Cherry Tomato Salad ($10.00++)
With pancetta, hazelnut, Gorgonzola & egg. Refreshing to start off a heavy meaty meal ahead.

45 days Home Dry Aged Corn-fed US Prime OP Rib ($18++ per 100 gram)
What is Dry Aged? Dry-aging is a slow process where the meat is conditioned through controlled temperatures and humidity for weeks, forming a moldy "crust" that is cut away before eating. Over the process, it often loses half of it's weight through dehydration, dry-aged beef has a concentrated flavour

45 days Corn-fed Dry Aged US Prime Traditional Florentina Steak ($22++ per 100 gram)
I seldom take medium rare beef as I find it too bloody but I changed my mind after trying this. With just salt, pepper, herbs and virgin olive oil to grill it, the meat is just pinky, juicy, not bloody and it's just so perfect.

Double Espresso Pannacotta with Vanilla Sauce ($12.00++)
It's not just one but double espresso, Intense espresso aroma. Personally, I love this as I am a coffee lover but for those who non coffee lover, this may be a no to you.

Bitter Chocolate - Marshmallow Fluff with Caramelized Banana ($14.00++)
There is always room for dessert even after a heavy meal.

I am surprised that they do serve quite a decent cup of coffee. Many Bar & Grill may focus on beers and neglect the coffee.
