When comes it Tacos, I personally preferred the crispy-shell taco rather than the soft-shell taco as it gives an extra crunch in every bites. I am glad that Mezcla uses the crispy-shell taco stuffed with quality & generous ingredients such as Uni, scallops, sashimi grade salmon, etc.
The pop-up menu is a 2 pax sharing menu ($120++) that offers diners a peek into Mezcla’s signature tacos:
SALMON (1pc) Crispy salmon skin taco, Ikura, Cured salmon, Edamame refritos
CARNITAS (1pc) Blue corn tortilla, Pork jowl, Ancho chile Edamame refritos, Pico de gallo
UNAGI (1pc) Seaweed taco, Unagi, Oyako tamago Japanese cucumber, Chipotle teriyaki
WAGYU (1pc) Blue corn tortilla, Wagyu brisket, Guacamole Guajillo, Gochugaru, Pickled onions
CRAB (1pc) Seaweed taco, Tempura soft shell Edamame refritos, Spiced mayo, Pico de gallo, Tobiko

Don’t forget to try some of their refreshing Margaritas that I think it goes quite well with their tacos. Total 6 fruity flavours (Lime, Kyoho, Strawberry, Mango, Peach & Pink Guava) in the menu at $13.00++ each. First time there and not sure what is your favorite? I would highly recommend you try their Flight of 3 (50ml of each flavour) $16.00++. At least you get to try 3 different flavours or make it 2 sets to try all 6 flavours.
I also got to try the Unicorn which is not available in Pop-Up Sharing Menu. I love that the Uni is topped on the char-grilled corns that give an extra crunchy bites.
Reservations can be made via Mezcla’s website (www.mezcla.sg). It will be a reservation-only event and in groups of 2 pax.
