Flipping through in details of TheShiokBook and realized there is wide range of cuisines available.  Decided to utilize 2 vouchers at Al Borgo which offer 1-for-1 Pizza and 1-for-1 Pasta. Haha, as a consumer, it is preferably to grab the 1-for-1 deal which is a 50% discount than 25% off total bill right? Trust me, there are many 1-for-1 coupons available in many different restaurants. 

Al Borgo which means "the village" in Italian, is an authentic Italian trattoria! It offers a menu of authentic, home-style dishes served with the quintessential warm Italian hospitality in a comfortable and cosy setting. 

While I am trying to take a shot of these beautiful layout of the wine bottles, the restaurant manager offered to take a photo of me with these bottles. Why not? Hehe.

Love their open concept kitchen and as you can see, all these pasta are handmade by them.

Seafood in Bucket @ Sakura International Buffet

To be very frank, I have been to Sakura several times over the past years and I don't really have a good impression of the food quality. This time round, Sakura Clementi Woods has totally change my impression.

Sakura introduced their first-ever Seafood in a Bucket and I believe this is the first buffet concepts to offer such bucket treat. What you see is what is available in the Seafood in a bucket features a medley of seafood ingredients and start the live Boston Lobster. I would assume that such bucket including live Boston Lobster should be limited to one serving per table but I am wrong! This is available in unlimited servings so diners can eat to their heart's content! Wow. 

Seafood in a Bucket also comes in with a choice of two dipping sauces. Spicy or Classic Garlic Herb Butter. Understand that the purpose of not mixing the sauce into the Bucket is to allow diners to have a choice. Some may not be able to take spicy and some may not like the garlic taste.

Another highlight worth a mention is their Sashimi is no longer served in a mass now. More hotel style now that you pick what you want and they will prepare it on spot, I would feel that the quality is far much better than the past. Their salmon is no longer a tiny little piece.

Not forgetting to mention that there is a New DIY counters to enjoy classics such as papaya salad, Thai beef noodles, Laksa and crispy Belgian waffles.

Aside from these interesting new creations, I can see that the quality of the other food has improved too. Looks at the Chawanmushi.
